Celebrating marinas for excellence in customer service, hospitality, amenities and charm.

In May of 2026, the first recipient of the ALIGARO award, St. Mary’s Intracoastal Gateway Marina, was selected. It set a high bar for all marinas that would follow. Since that time, a select few marinas have received this prestigious designation.

You might wonder why we decided to give these awards. Well, Captain Garland spent 35 years working in customer service and has expertise in quality control, customer service, and change management. As we travel along the Great Loop, we look forward to celebrating those marinas which go the extra mile. And if you’re traveling in the area, we hope you’ll give them a try, too.
